Year 5 and 6 students were offered the opportunity to learn about the states of matter in a scientific incursion in our school hall. Stephanie, a representative from Fizzics Education directed three sessions. There were several tables with different interactive activities for students; including magnets, microscopes and a fun rope puzzle. Stephanie taught us about how different states of matter can change according to the temperature, including water and hydrogen. She also showed us how to transform states of matter and change their size using liquid nitrogen and a balloon!! It was an amazing experience that we all enjoyed and learnt many concepts.
